The making of a picture with a smile

I love to have smiling pictures of T-man. It's not always easy. I do like that now he actually listens to me when I tell him things. I was taking some pictures of my little man the other day and this is how it went.

Can we please smile for mama--blank stare
Can we please smile with your teeth -- my little man flashes the biggest smile
Smile for mama please -- gives me a half smile
Please show me your teeth when you smile -- He point to his teeth (at least he follows directions)
YAY, we have a picture with a smile
I told you I take a lot of pictures, I might as well have some good ones in the pack. It is so much fun to take pictures of this adorable little man.

Tag, I am it

I have been tagged by Keya from the daily life of me. I was actually excited about this, thanks for the tag.

There are some rules:
1. Post these rules
2. You must post 11 random things about yourself
3. Answer the questions set for you in the post you were tagged in
4. Create 11 new questions for your tagees to answer
5. Tag them on Twitter, Facebook or your blog

11 Random Things about Me:
1. I used to be a huge swimmer did it for over 13 years straight) then I grew out of it
2. I was born in Paris, France and French is my native language.
3. I love to separate my food. I don't like when my mashed potatoes touch my corn or meat. I know, weird
4. I hate to exercise, I am just so lazy
5. I truly enjoyed being pregnant with my son and I can't wait to do it again
6. I have always wanted to be an actress, maybe one day
7. I love love love to travel and I am lucky that my hubby does too
8. My favorite color is blue and I wanted everything to be blue at my wedding but hubby's choice won and we went with red
9. I love food too much and cannot diet. Just the smell of food puts me in a happy mood
10. I have always secretly wanted a sister. I have 2 brothers instead.
11. I love my son to the moon and back but I so don't want to be a SAHM.

1. Do you worry about what the future holds for you?
I am a big worrier but I try not to worry about things I can't really control. I just pray that I am here to see my children grow.

2. Do you want to have kids or have anymore kids?
We currently have one kid in heaven and one kid here on earth with us. We hope to add 2 maybe 3 to our brood here on earth :). We'll see what God has planned for us.

3. What was the last book you read?
I don't read, how sad, but I watch loads of movies and tv shows :).

4. What's your favorite blog or website to read?
I love so many blogs, it would be hard to name just one. I do love to check out people.com, I love to read about my celebrities :).

5. What type of music do you like to listen to?
I have been into Adele lately but I pretty much listen to anything catchy. I know, not original at all.

6. Where do you like or would you like to go on vacation?
I so want to go to Bora Bora one day.  This is on my dream list

7. When was the last time you bought a new vehicle?
November 2010, I got a brand new Toyota Highlander with 6 miles on it and I still love to drive this car today. This was my first brand new car ever.

8. Buy a car or lease?
Buy all the way. I am not into expensive cars so leasing doesn't really make sense.

9. Do you attend church? What religion are you?
I try to go to Church every Sunday, it's only worked out to be about every other Sunday lately. I am a Roman Catholic.

10. Are you generally happy with your life?
I am so happy with my life right now. There are few things that I wished I did differently (like having a rental property, I hate being a landlord with a passion) but for the most part I feel like I am living the dream and it's a good dream :).

11. If the world ended this year what would you want to spend your last days doing.
Hanging out with my hubby and my son. If I only have days left on earth, I want to make the most of it with them.

Well everyone that I would have loved to tagged has done this already except for Amy but she has a newborn baby and has way more important things to do right now. So if you really want to do the tag, go for it. I would love to read your details.

We love having visitors

My friend Melissa came to visit a few weekends ago. We don't get to see her as much now that she lives in a different city so it's always a treat. Deb also joined in for the fun and that made for an awesome chill weekend. We love having visitors.

Melissa and T-man having some cuddle time

Melissa got T-man a new toy and he is loving it

Deb joined in for the fun with the cuddle time

T-man just wanted to play with the Ipod
He loves the Ipod or Ipad for sure
We had a great time with the girls over the weekend. I am looking forward to the next visit. Speaking of visitors, hubby's sister will be here in less than 3 weeks. YAY for visitors.

We went bowling this weekend and it was a lot of fun. We were invited to a 3-year old birthday party at a bowling alley. I didn't think that my little 18-month old would know what to do or would even have fun.

Little did I know that bowling can be fun at any age particularly when they have the right balls and the lanes are only for children. T-man had so much fun he was kicking and screaming when we left.

Look at that professional bowler :)
He loved getting his balls himself

He was laughing so hard every time the ball went down the lane
He enjoyed this so much we just have to go back
Screaming his head off when we were leaving
A family picture with T-man not excited about leaving
It was actually a fun afternoon and I will definitely take him bowling again soon. If you haven't tried it with your little ones, you should definitely do it.

Taking you back to our wedding - Part 2

After our ceremony, we had about 4 hours to waste before the reception. We went to a local park and took some pictures of just me and the hubby. Lots of it and I love them all.

We then went back to the hotel (it was walking distance to the reception) and took a much needed nap. We were ready to party the night away, which we did until 2am.

Here are some pictures of that superb evening.

Our guestbooks were signature picture frames with pictures of us at our places of birth.

We had personalized champagne bottles made with our pics on them
Our cake was awesome and the cake topper was so perfect

Our first dance
The best man speech was awesome and hilarious. We were cracking up the whole time
It's time to kiss the bride, we did a lot of this all night
 Cutting our cake
Having fun with our champagne toast

My husband loved his grooms cake, Arsenal is his favorite team of all times

Let the party begin :). It was so much fun

There was lots of kissing, it's ok we're married now :)
With hubby's friends at the end of the night, just love this pic
There was a lot of people dancing the whole night

I just love this pic of our grandmothers cutting a rug, priceless

The perfect ending to a great day. I had so much fun on my wedding day. I wish I could go back and just do the day all over again (not the planning, please no but just enjoy the day).

Hope you enjoyed this as much as I did. It was great to take a trip down memory lane.

Taking you back to our wedding - Part 1

What better time to take you back to our wedding than this week. I had to break it into two posts because I have way too many pictures to share :).

Our colors were red because that's my husband's favorite color. His favorite color is red because his favorite team is Arsenal and red is their color.

We had 9 bridesmaids and groomsmen, it was awesome. Without further ado, the pictures.

We made our programs ourselves, I was really proud of the final product
Getting my make up done, gotta get pampered at some point in life
So in love with my dress

One happy bride, I was all smiles the entire day
 Me and my mom

I love me some glamor shots

Giving away the bride
 We are getting married, YAY
You may now kiss the bride
 Mr.and Mrs. we did it
outside the Church
We had a huge wedding for sure
Hubby's family
 My family
 The entire wedding party
 Departing in our limo :)

Me and my girls
and some shots of just the two of us before we head to the reception

And just because my mom looked hot in her evening dress, here's a pic of my mom and dad
Next up is the wedding part 2. I will take you back to the reception and the celebration that ensued.
